Natalie (Tilly) Loughborough appointed Chief Operating Officer of Greyhound Australia

Greyhound Australia has announced the appointment of Natalie (Tilly) Loughborough as Chief Operating Officer, commencing 20 March 2025.

Tilly joins Greyhound with nearly two decades of leadership experience across Australia’s transport sector, bringing expertise in public transport operations, customer experience, network performance and sustainability.

Her appointment reflects Greyhound Australia’s continued focus on delivering safe, reliable and customer-focused travel across the country’s only national long-distance coach network.

Tilly most recently served as Executive Director, Rail and Public Transport at the National Transport Research Organisation, where she held responsibility for public transport across multiple modes and operational environments.

Prior to this, she held senior leadership roles with Metro Trains Melbourne and Transdev Australasia, helping oversee some of Australia’s largest rail, bus and ferry networks.

As Chief Operating Officer, Tilly will lead Greyhound Australia’s operational teams, with a focus on service reliability, customer experience, innovation and sustainable business practices.

Her extensive experience managing complex transport networks will support Greyhound’s commitment to providing seamless travel experiences while connecting communities across city, coast and country.

Alongside her operational leadership experience, Tilly is an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and serves on the Governance Committee for Transport Women Australia Limited.

She is also Deputy Chair of the Chartered Institute of Railway Operators Australia and New Zealand, reflecting her ongoing commitment to leadership, industry development and mentoring the next generation of transport professionals.
